MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING REPORTS OF DISORDER

A man has been arrested after reports of disorder in Tamworth last night.

We were called at 7.30pm (Friday 27th March) to reports of a group of men with weapons on Medway, Belgrave, Tamworth. 

Firearms officers went to the address and a 37-year-old man, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of affray.

He remains in custody at this time.
